Meet the Fork + Brush Chef : Iverson Brownell

Chef Iverson Brownell, of Iverson Catering, will be preparing the delectable fare for our Fork & Brush series on January 27. Raised by artists and trained locally at Johnson and Wales University, Iverson is the perfect chef to compliment fine art with edible art. His Lowcountry upbringing and subsequent move out west has influenced Iverson to blend a range of styles for an interesting palette sensation. While living in Utah, the call of home brought Iverson and his catering business  back to Charleston, which is able to furnish any size event including tastings, weddings, private yacht dinners and the Spoleto Festival events. Iverson has been highlighted on various national networks including The Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel, The Food Network, and ESPN and has even spent time as the Executive Chef in a gourmet restaurant reachable only by sleigh and without electricity or running water. This is a meticulous chef who takes great care and pride in every aspect of the noshing experience, from the venue to the servers. Iverson says, “The little details are what make the biggest difference.” Guests of Eye Level’s Fork & Brush series are assured to be impressed with the four course presentation Iverson has lined up.

Reservations are $129.00 and include a cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres as well as special wine pairing with each course.
